Sky City is a free-to-play, metaverse city that serves as the hub of the AlterVerse. Players can customize their character, play games, earn tokens, trade assets and build their own custom spaces.
Sky City features full day & night cycles, along with weather transitions and built-in voice chat.
Sixteen massive, floating platforms called Halospheres surround the central shopping plaza where players first land. Most of these Halospheres will feature NFT plots of land for sale. Some plots will be for players to build homes on, others for businesses. Additional Halospheres will feature attractions like NFT Land, a huge marina, an amusement park, a stadium, and many other exciting concepts. Two forest biomes already exist, where players can gather resources to craft building parts and furnishings. Players can play-to-earn tokens, which are used to buy NFTs and items in the game.
The central shopping plaza features over 80 retail shops and apartments, a hover car track, and a demolition derby/deathmatch arena. On the north end of the plaza, a well-appointed City Hall has been built, where the soon-to-be-elected City Council will hold meetings to promote tourism and plan the use of land. On the opposite side of the round plaza, you’ll find Club Sky City, a members-only hot spot for dancing and music! On the west side, an NFT game & skins shop is conveniently located where players can browse and purchase NFT skins for everything from weapons to armor and clothing. Arnold’s Diner is a 50’s style diner where players can hang out, buy food and socialize.
Closed Alpha version of Sky City is planned to launch by June 2022.
We are welcoming Stephan’s multifaceted skills with open arms and we’re excited to have him contributing to our concept art needs.
