Sky City hosts a successful Closed Pre-Alpha during the weekend of 11.11.22. Read on for more details, a full changelog and an updated roadmap!
This past weekend marked an epic milestone in the life of Sky City, where ‘OG’ members of the #AVFam came together for three jam-packed days of exploring, crafting, building and sharing their immersive metaverse experiences within the AlterVerse!
1.Stress testing multiple game servers (one located in Dallas, TX USA and the other located in Cologne, Germany).
2. Seek minor bugs to fix.
Holders of both the AlterVerse Citizen and Founder NFTs were invited to join in on the fun, roam the various halospheres, check out all the new gameplay features, and provide their input on all things Sky City.
A private Discord channel was established for the Closed Pre-Alpha Testers. Game Mods were available to help newcomers throughout the weekend.
A bug tracking form was also provided to everyone involved in order to help find and fix minor gameplay issues.
Members of the Closed Pre-Alpha were encouraged to take screenshots along the way, and share with the rest of the community.

The AlterVerse production team has been working around the clock to squash bugs and fix minor gameplay issues, which were reported by the Members of the Closed Pre-Alpha.
Here’s a quick rundown on some of the latest fixes.
Fixed:
Random UI issues.
Sky Car warning SFX.
Floating Chairs in the NFT Center.
Wrong text on the uniform podiums.
Chargers flip over.
Too dark on Deep Root Forest Halo.
Fell through Arcade Platform.
Update Jet propulsion on Hovercraft.
Club Sky city side building parts floating.
House invisible from Sky Car.
Mini Map not showing.
Quest 18 fails to move to the next step.
T key teleports you — It shouldn’t.
Rotate the Sphere around emusement park.
Interactions stop working.
Keep in mind, the team will be pushing out frequent game updates. If you’re a part of the early testing members, automatic patching will be required when reloading the game. As the game becomes more stable over time, patching will become less frequent.

Our next major milestone is coming up quick! Sky City Closed Alpha will occur on 12.12.22. Extra invites will be sent out to the most supportive members of the #AVFam.
Goals for the Closed Alpha include more stress testing on additional game servers, continued bug tracking and fixes on the fly, and testing new gameplay features that have been in the works!
As the AV team makes more progress throughout the year, our upcoming roadmap looks promising for long-term success with Sky City… as well as the long-awaited launch of our two standalone games: REKT and OutPost!
